Forest of Light

We invite you to participate in the Forest of Light by depicting your many values, heritages and cultures.  Churches, Congregations, Individuals, Families, and Groups (i.e. bible study, service-oriented organizations, employment service agency, drug and alcohol rehab and so on) to help us create an atmosphere of unity and belonging by submitting a Christmas tree, Menorah, or other sympbols. We invite you to kindly consider that this event is intended to appeal to families and individuals of all backgrounds and varieties. Please consider that your submission should be appropriate across all segments of our community. 

Display Requirements

• 3 to 8 foot Christmas tree or appropriate display for your organization i.e. Menorah/Nativity/Symbols of your family or organization. 

• Provide lights for your tree/presentation.

• Provide tree skirt if you are sharing a tree. 

• Provide decorations for your tree (ideas: something specific to your congregation/faith, traditions, heritage, cultural or any type of appropriate theme of your choosing).

• Set up and take down times will be by assigned date and time window (assigned date and time window will be given to you by the first week of December)

• No live trees or live flames

A placard with the name of your church/individual/family/organization will be provided by the artistic committee. If you wish, please provide a QR code and/or website link so the community may learn more about you.
